Passionate Pilgrimages (18:00 - 20:00)
OPC Book Night has a double header in September with Elizabeth Sharland's latest book, Passionate Pilgrimages: From Chopin to Coward. The book is a guide to the homes and studios of legendary composers, artists and writers across Europe. It captures the essence of their work and life styles, including photographs and anecdotes. OPC member Roy Rowan will provide the introductions.
NOTE: The e-newsletter incorrectly noted the day of the week of this event. This book night takes place on Tuesday, September 16.
Reception begins at 6 p.m. followed by a conversation with Sharland about her journey into the minds, and houses, of some of the world's most beloved artists.
