OPC Foundation 2007 Dan Eldon Scholarship winner Ed Ou has had his photography highlighted from Cairo and Vancouver in The New York Times.
Ou was an intern for The Times and is now a freelancer for the paper. He has photographed in the Middle East, Africa and the former Soviet republics. James Estrin spoke with Ou by telephone about his experience in Cairo.
He also completed a photo essay for the paper about a ‘safe’ drug injection site in Vancouver.
