In Case You Missed It: A Video of OPC’s Photojournalism Panel

OPC Photo Award winners and editors last week shared their best practices on international reporting during a panel discusion at the Columbia University School of Journalism.

Panelists include OPC board member Robert Nickelsberg, who won the Olivier Rebbot Award for his book “Afghanistan: A Distant War”; Sarah Voisin, a 2009 OPC winner, and James Estrin, who is co-editor of The New York Times Lens Blog.

The panel was moderated by Abi Wright, executive director of prizes at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and an OPC board member.

Nina Berman has curated a photo exhibit on the 3rd floor that will remain open until the end of October, featuring work by Tyler Hicks, Robert Nickelsberg and Jerome Delay of the Associated Press, who won the John Faber Award for his photos of unrest in the Central African Republic.
