Reporters Without Borders Germany and the Taz-Panter-Foundation, a non-profit organization linked to daily newspaper Die Tageszeitung (Taz), is offering a rest-and-refuge fellowship in Berlin to journalists working in crisis countries who need time away from the field for mental health or security reasons. The fellowship includes travel expenses, a decent apartment, pocket money and free transportation in Berlin for up to three months. Scroll to the bottom of the link to see details in English. The Overseas Press Club Foundation offers two programs for American college students who aspire to become foreign correspondents at some point in their careers.

The Khmer Times is expanding and hiring reporters. In September, the paper added Tuesdays, in October a Cambodian language insert. Later in 2015, the paper plans to expand to 5 days a week.
